Stunning condition Ducati Racing Motorcycle from 1972.
Believed to have been constructed around a Ducati 250 wide-case bevel-drive single-cylinder engine (DMthe details below), the motorcycle is presented in what appears to be a purpose-built racing chassis fitted with clip-on handlebars, alloy yokes, racing fuel tank and seat, drum brakes and an expansion exhaust.
Based upon our inspection, the machine appears to be of relatively recent construction, and we have been unable to determine whether it originated as a production road motorcycle or was purpose-built as a classic racing special. We therefore recommend cataloguing it as a Ducati Desmo 250 'Racing Motorcycle', to reflect its current configuration.
