A rare opportunity to acquire a Lamborghini Jarama S from 1973, offered as a restoration project.
This Jarama S comes directly out a private collection and was previously the subject of a full restoration with remain of its complete original interior. Unfortunately, during the final test drives and engine adjustments, a fire started on the left-hand carburettor side of the engine bay, causing significant fire damage to the vehicle.
The engine is believed to be in good condition, the right-hand side of the engine bay has also escaped the main fire damage. The fire was concentrated primarily in and around the left carburettor area and subsequently travelled into the exhaust system and little thru the dash. The fire stayed mostly in the airfilter box and eventually cracked the front windshield
Importantly, the majority of the remaining bodywork is in good condition, making this a potentially worthwhile basis for a second restoration. After all it is a (GT) S.
