A rare opportunity to acquire a partly beautifully restored 1966 Porsche 912 SWB, imported from California and now offered as an advanced restoration project. The car comes out a private collection.
The car was a complete vehicle, the current owner began a full restoration that was never brought to completion. The result is an exceptionally solid and well-executed rolling chassis, with the most demanding part of the restoration already completed.
The bodywork has been fully restored to original specifications, using new parts where required. New floors and rear seat rests all have been professionally installed. The car was then painted in period correct Porsche dark green, giving the finished shell the appearance and quality expected.
The restored rolling chassis has been stored for some time and is now ready for the next owner to complete the project.
Interior still requires replacement/ restoration but all there.
Chrome is in nice condition and can be retained
Engine is non-matching
Fitted with a 365B Super 90 KD (Kundendienst) stamped engine
Engine has the same horsepower specification as the original 912 engine. The KD/ Kundendienst stamped engine may have been supplied as a period warranty/ service replacement
