1972 vintage Honda CL350 K4 USA import now UK registered, historic vehicle so tax and mot exempt , V5 is in my name, nice standard example (with non standard paintwork on the tank ) Oily rag run around or restore to as new.
The bike starts, runs and rides lovely , the nice quiet engine sounds good through the standard exhaust system which is in great condition, no holes or splits
The chrome on the wheel rims and mudguards is in excellent condition given the age of the bike
Carbs and jets thoroughly cleaned , blown through and have been in the ultrasonic tank , new inlet rubbers, new battery, new petrol tap, engine oil changed and the oil centrifuge has been checked, it was clean anyway no sign of any cam chain tensioner particles. Valve clearances checked and ignition timing set. New drive chain fitted also new seat cover and strap fitted
All the electrics work , including the horn and charging system. Modern solid state regulator/ rectifier comes with the bike should the new owner wish to upgrade.
Plenty of tread left on the tyres but they are old, so tyre change advised
The petrol tank was manky inside when I got the bike, the clean out process revealed a few pin holes around the seams underneath. These have been externally fixed with JB weld, then the tank was comprehensively internally cleaned and then lined with ethanol proof clear liner.
