Meet Dave, the best looking Mini Cooper S Convertible ever built.
Two owners. We are the second owners and bought him from Mini Heathrow when he was just over 18 months old.
Factory specification: Hyper Blue metallic, Blue Hood, Half Leather Interior, Chrono Pack, Bullet Alloys, White Bonnet Stripes, Spot Lights.
Excellent condition for the year and mileage, some minor marks commensurate with the age and mileage but presents beautifully.
Tyres: Pirelli front axle - excellent, Dunlop rear axle - excellent.
Wheels: Good condition but some marks and minor scuffs.
Body: Lovely condition, again some marks but nothing that significantly detracts from the overall appearance.
Electric Roof: Water tight and fully functional. This is a mohair type that shows signs of age and wear, particularly the rubber rain drip strips that have perished. The roof has never leaked or malfunctioned. I have regularly treated the roof with water repellent.
Mechanical: Dave starts first time and runs up to and then maintains temperature steadily. Good oil pressure both on startup and when hot. He drives very well, everything works with the exception of the A/ C which I think will need re gassing (the light comes on and then switches off).
Overall: Dave has been our ‘Summer Days’ car for many years and has been garage stored most of his life. We store him/ SORN him in the Autumn, put him in our dry garage on a trickle charge over winter where I start him and move him to keep the seals lubed, brakes & clutch free and the tyres round.
This is a regrettable sale but with the addition of another new car this Spring we simply have not used him this year, hence the decision to sell - as we all know, the best way to maintain a car is to use it and he deserves to be enjoyed.
I had a new MOT done recently, he passed with zero advisories.
The pictures are all recent, within the last couple of weeks of this listing.
Summary: This is a fabulous car for not a great deal of money, so please, serious enquiries only. To that end I would recommend checking your insurance and look up the annual tax cost first.

We bought him via the Mini Cherished programme May 2007.
Serviced by Mini up to 62, 000 miles and maintained regularly as required thereafter with fresh oil and filters, tyres etc.
He had a new exhaust in 2019.
His service reminder states next inspection in 13, 400 miles (see photo).
