2006 BMW E92 335d M57 - 130k Miles
Full service history, 2 keys. V5 in my name & address.
2006 BMW E92 335d with the 3. 0 twin-turbo M57. Around 130, 000 miles and still being used daily, so this will increase slightly. This is also why there’s a phone holder and a few everyday bits visible in some of the photos!
Very clean car inside and out for its age and it drives exceptionally well. It’s a seriously fast car with loads of torque, but still makes a great daily and will return up to 48 mpg on a motorway run.
Interiors is wonderful, no ripped seats or carpets, no sagging headliner etc. There are a couple tiny scuffs but presents very nicely. Feels like brand new.
It’s been well maintained with full service history and regular oil and filter changes. A lot of the common M57 jobs have already been taken care of, including a new flywheel, gearbox service with new fluid and filter, swirl flap blanks, intake manifold and gaskets, main charge pipe, PCV gasket, silicone vacuum hoses, pressure converters and propshaft coupling.
It’s also had a Mann fuel filter, Pipercross panel filter, braided fuel hoses, set of ABS sensors and new strut mounts. BMW airbag and blower regulator recalls have also been completed.
Brembo discs and pads were fitted front and rear around a year ago and still have loads of life left.
It’s also sitting on Eibach lowering springs.
Good spec including:
* 5-way electric memory seats
* Adaptive Xenon headlights that turn with the steering
* Ice-cold air conditioning
* Electric seatbelt handover arms (both working)
* Working cup holders
* Detachable quick-release full-capacity tow bar
The tow bar cost around £1, 000 and detaches in 2 seconds. I’ve only used it to pull my tiny 3 ft x 3 ft trailer, not caravans!
MOT until March 2027. All four tyres are currently legal, although I’d personally change the two fronts before winter.
There are a couple of (very) tiny dings on the sides, a couple stone chips on front bumper and a couple of scuffs on rear bumper. The bonnet paint isn’t perfect if you inspect it closely under direct light. I’ve tried to show as best I could however it’s hard to see on camera. In normal light it’s difficult to notice. Overall it presents very well for a 20-year-old car.
It’s had a lot of money and preventative maintenance spent on it and feels properly sorted to drive. The gearbox changes as it should, the M57 pulls extremely well and everything on the car works.
EGR/ DPF and swirl flaps have been addressed, and no issues with MOTs, but please be aware of this before enquiring. I believe most owners put this under preventative maintenance!
Ready to get in and enjoy. I’m not desperate to sell it, so I’m not looking for silly offers.
