I have restored this motorcycle and owned it for over eight years.
It has been ridden only in dry conditions and has always been stored in a garage over the winter months. It is in a very good condition and has been maintained to a high standard. I have a complete list of all the work that has been carried out on the machine as well as photos of its rebuild. The list is too long to describe here. The bike is fitted with Higgspeed expansion boxes, but the bike comes with the original unrestored exhaust pipes which are in reasonable condition. Other upgrades are the bike has electronic ignition and a lighter clutch action than the original plus Hagon rear shock absorbers. The original shocks are in the sale. Otherwise it is as it was when it left the factory. I am happy to show the bike to potential interested parties and / or send more photographs if requested. This is not a concours condition machine. It’s to be ridden and enjoyed. I will of course consider all sensible offers. I am only selling as I need space to start another project.
This is a classic 500cc two stroke that has the iconic smell and sound of the 70’s. It will bring back memories if you ever had one back then. The candy red colour scheme is complemented by the chrome work which is in good condition. This is a bike to be ridden.
As best as I can ascertain the mileage is correct looking back at previous mots and service history. I have some service history prior to buying it. It has been regularly serviced by me since ownership. All restoration paperwork is documented and available to view, with bills and receipts. Mileage may increase a little from the 22000 currently shown.
