I have owned this BMW R60/ 5 for the last 10 years. It was originally purchased and registered in Germany in 1970 by a British Army officer, and then bought back and registered in the UK in 1972. It is a very desirable colour way in black with cream pinstriping, large tank, low euro spec bars, electric start and side crash bars. The seat has been replaced but I still have the original, as well as the luggage rack and original tool roll. The speedo was converted from kph to mph in 2000 as documented in the MOTs.
The bike has just been serviced with all fluids and filters changed, as well as a new battery.
I have plenty of history and documentation for the bike including MOT certificates back to 1993, service history back to 1989, Owners Manual and Haynes Manual.
The bike is now MOT & Tax exempt in the UK.
