For sale is my BMW E34 525i, which I have owned and cared for over the past 10 years. It has been a much-loved car and used as my daily driver for the first 8 years of ownership.
Mechanically, the car is in excellent condition and drives exactly as it should. It benefits from a major mechanical overhaul carried out at a specialist garage in Poland in 2020, and most significantly, the engine block was replaced in 2023 by a specialist in Manchester (documentation available).
Cosmetically, the car presents very well when cleaned, but it is not a perfect example. There is lacquer peel on the boot lid, light corrosion on the driver-side sills, and wear to the driver’s seat fabric consistent with age and mileage.
Since 2024 the car has been stored off-road in a garage and started regularly to keep everything in good condition. Prior to this it was used regularly and maintained regardless of cost.
It's recent MOT passed with minimum advisories, and remains a solid, reliable example of a 90s BMW that drives as it should.
