Description
A light blue Citroën Dyane 6 from December 1979, with original number plate and registration document. A full service has been carried out following a long period in a private collection. The bodywork was completely repainted around ten years ago and shows only minor imperfections consistent with its age. The interior has been recently restored using materials that match the original 1979 specifications. For example, the non-original black seat covers were replaced during the interior restoration in accordance with the specifications of the time. A new soft top has been fitted, and a rare hardtop in the same colour as the bodywork is included. Four new tyres fitted. New exhaust system fitted. New shock absorbers fitted. Brakes checked and serviced. Suspension checked and serviced. The car is in excellent mechanical condition. A car of definite historical interest, perfect for anyone looking for a sound, complete Dyane in excellent condition. Available for viewing and test drive.
I am open to a part-exchange for a Citroën DS Pallas.
Often overshadowed by its iconic sister, the 2CV, the Citroën Dyane is a wonderfully distinctive car in its own right. Offering greater practicality thanks to its hatchback body style, improved ventilation and a more refined driving experience, the Dyane has gradually gained recognition amongst enthusiasts as a charming and practical classic, and good examples are becoming increasingly rare to find.
This 1979 example presents a fascinating opportunity. The light blue bodywork was completely repainted around ten years ago and still looks good, showing only minor imperfections consistent with its age. More recently, the interior has been meticulously restored using materials true to the original 1979 specification. A thorough reconditioning has been carried out to get the car back on the road after a long spell in a private collection. It is in excellent mechanical condition and ready to drive and enjoy.
