Hi here I have for sale this stunning 1986 3 door Sierra Cosworth that has had a full nut and bolt restoration by the Lotus Outlaws. I purchased this car from a friend in Ireland who purchased it in the UK and took it over there for a few years but never used it. The car was a nice enough running usable example. I decided to strip the car back to a bare shell and complete a concourse nut and bolt restoration. The car was sand blasted back to bare metal, inner wings needed repair and a couple of other little bits on the floor, other than that it was a very solid shell. It was restored on an open cheque book in typical Lotus Outlaws style with brand new parts where available or the best reconditioned parts, new suspension, new bearings, reconditioned steering rack, new brake lines, new discs and pads, reconditioned callipers, new clutch, new starter, new bushes, the list goes on and on and on. The engine was rebuilt by Jon Toovey race engines as stock with up rated bearings and gaskets. Turbo was rebuilt by Doug Sport Turbos. Painted inside, out and underneath, brand new exhaust done to original spec. Everything possible was replaced on this car. New roof lining done at Aldridge Trimmers, the rest of the interior is in excellent condition, a couple of very minor cracks on dash top. Refurbished wheels etc. The restoration was completed approximately 4 years ago and in that time it has done approx 700 shake down miles. The car has done just over 100k miles with an extensive history file with enough paper work to choke a donkey. I am selling this car with a heavy heart only for the simple reason it just sits in a garage not getting the attention it deserves due to having too many classics. I have put this and other cars for sale so if something else sells first this will be pulled back off the market so act fast. These are the hottest classics to date and when you pull on a field at a classic car show everyone stops what they are doing and watches you pull on, that's the amount of attention these cars get. Please note this is a Lotus Outlaws built and owned car and we are known for some of the best classic ford restorations in the country. Note this not your used and abused cosworth with a cheap make over. No silly offers as not in a rush to sell. No PX's unless it helps with the sale and falls in my favour. No texans or dancing bears. Can be delivered at extra cost.
