2017 Ducati Multistrada 1200 S DVT – 15, 300 miles – Desmo and belts services completed (not due again until January 2030)
I’ve owned this Multistrada for several years and enjoyed some fantastic trips and European tours on it. It has been maintained and developed into an exceptionally well-equipped long-distance touring bike, with a considerable amount spent on servicing, protection, luggage and carefully chosen accessories.
The cambelts and Desmo valve service were completed in January 2025 by Gary Baird, formerly a technician at Italia Moto. It starts, runs and rides exactly as it should, with no known faults. The tyres, chain and sprockets are all in good condition, and it is MOT'd until August 2027.
The Multistrada 1200 S combines the 160 bhp Testastretta DVT engine with electronically controlled Ducati Skyhook suspension, selectable riding modes, cornering ABS, traction and wheelie control, cruise control, heated grips, keyless ignition and a colour TFT display.

This is a properly sorted, low-mileage Multistrada that needs nothing before being enjoyed. It is comfortable enough for serious touring but still has the performance, handling and character that make the 1200 S such a special road bike.
I am only selling because I also own a BMW GS and the two motorcycles increasingly perform the same role. It will be a genuine wrench to see the Ducati go.
