Description
Triumph GT6 MK1 with a Spitfire MK3 body tub. (Not a Spitfire with GT6 engine)
Has the Original 2L engine, GT6 doors, Bonnet and dashboard.
Runs and drivers excellently, engine pulls very strong, no rot.
Non overdrive.
Recent recon gearbox
Electronic ignition but have a new Points distributer that will come with the car.
Has a good usable hard top
Soft op has a small tear in the rear plastic
Seats are comfortable but the seams on the passenger side have come apart at the top where it can rub against the hood frame. I have a recovering kit and foams that can be supplied at extra cost. I didn't recover the seats as I liked the patina that the car had with them. Would have changed if I was going to do a full concourse restoration but the car is no where near needing a full restoration.
The manual windscreen washer I converted to electric pump but converted the original pump plunger on the dash to a switch so the facia looks as original..
