A very nice example of the 986 Boxster S, with the naturally aspirated 3. 2-litre flat-six, six-speed manual gearbox and excellent chassis that make these cars such a pleasure to drive.
The car has had approximately £8, 000 of recent work and maintenance, all supported by invoices. This includes a major service, IMS bearing, replacement water pump and thermostat, all six coil packs, spark plugs and plug tubes, front and rear discs and pads, brake-line work, anti-roll-bar bushes and other maintenance.
It has also recently passed its MOT with no advisories.
The Forest Green Metallic paintwork is a particularly nice feature, complemented by factory 18-inch two-piece GT Spin alloy wheels and a black leather interior. The car has electrically adjustable leather seats with embossed Porsche crests, climate control, electric windows, wind deflector and an Alpine Bluetooth/ USB stereo. The convertible hood has also been replaced and features the later glass rear window.
There is a substantial history file with a stamped service book and extensive invoices documenting the car’s maintenance. These are available upon request.
The car presents well for its age and mileage, with the usual minor age-related marks, and drives very well. It’s been properly maintained and the recent expenditure means the major mechanical jobs have already been addressed.
