Description
This is a lovely little Mark 3 Polo GTi in great condition, showing 92k miles, and with a good service history.
I am only the second owner of the car, the first lady owner had the car from new until September 2022 when I bought it. At that time the odometer was showing 86k miles. There was a good bundle of history with the car which showed it was regularly maintained and serviced up to the point I acquired it and the Mot history supported the mileage.
I bought the car because it was absolutely standard with original paintwork. No coilovers or stage 1 mods, and came with the Blaupunkt cd changer that came as standard. The BBS alloys were and still are in great condition.
In my ownership it I have focused on making sure the car is mechanically ready for its next 50k miles. It had a major service with the clutch, cambelt and water pump being replaced in mid 2023, at 87k miles. This year I had the rear suspension refurbished, including a replacement rear beam, (which I had powder coated prior to fitting), new top mounts, axles bushes, and shock absorber bump stops and bushes.
The car has been regularly serviced during my ownership and was last serviced 26 March 2026 at 91, 658 miles. Mechanically the car is sound and drives as it should. Current mileage is just over 92k.
In terms of defects, there isn’t much to report. There is a light scuff on the rear bumper (done by a careless driver in a car park) and a small area of rust on the drivers side wheel arch. This hasn't got any worse since I owned the car and is not that obvious. I do have a spare wing (in silver) which can go with the car if required. There is also a slight scratch on the passenger side dash. Otherwise, the interior is extremely tidy, the upholstery including the seat bolsters are in excellent condition with no rips, tears or excessive wearing. Carpets are in great condition. Photos included to highlight the issues noted above.
The car has an mot to 25 March 2027.
