Rare genuine Citroën C15 Teilhol Pickup, fitted with the well-regarded 1. 8-litre XUD diesel engine.
I have owned the vehicle for approximately 18 months and during that time it has been my daily driver and work pickup. I bought it as a running project and have continued to maintain and improve it while using it regularly.
The odometer is showing approximately 77, 200 miles, which I believe to be correct based on the history I have with the vehicle, although I cannot guarantee the mileage.
It remains a very usable classic rather than a show vehicle. Overall it is in good condition for its age, but it has been used as a working pickup and therefore has the expected scratches, chips, paint blisters and general signs of use.
The cab and pickup bed are steel, with the distinctive rear outer bodywork in fibreglass as part of the Teilhol conversion. The vehicle also retains its original Teilhol S. A. transformation plate in the door shut.
During my ownership I have had a considerable amount of work carried out, including:
New front brake discs and pads
Front brake calipers refurbished
New brake hoses
New brake differential/ proportioning valve
New rear brake shoes and wheel cylinders
New handbrake cables
Cambelt replaced at approximately 70, 000 miles
Two oil and filter changes
Cooling system flushed and converted to waterless coolant
K&N air filter
Refurbished rear axle fitted
Good rear springs and shock absorbers fitted
Two new front control arms
Rear inner wheel arches welded
The interior is in good condition for its age and everything works as far as I am aware.
Known points to be aware of are:
Two small rust holes in the rear pickup bed, away from the suspension mounting areas and non-structural
The plywood pickup-bed liner needs replacing; the existing one is included and can be used as a template
Small water leak into the cab from around the windscreen
Two tears in the pickup bed cover where it meets the bulkhead, approximately 50mm and 200mm long
Various scratches, chips and paint blisters around the bodywork
General cosmetic wear consistent with its age and use
I have tried to photograph the condition honestly rather than disguise anything.
This is a rare, characterful and practical old commercial that can still be used as intended, while also being an unusual classic in its own right.

History
This is a genuine Teilhol-bodied Citroën C15 pickup, rather than a home-built or recent conversion.
The vehicle still carries its original Teilhol S. A. transformation plate, identifying Teilhol of Courpière, France and showing Transformation No. 108. Teilhol produced specialist versions of the C15 using vehicles supplied by Citroën, including pickup derivatives such as this one.
The V5 currently records the vehicle as a van, reflecting its original Citroën commercial vehicle classification. There is no separate conversion paperwork in the history file, but the original Teilhol identification plate remains fitted to the vehicle.
The pickup underwent a substantial restoration during 2006–2007, and I have a file of paperwork and photographs documenting that work.
Since then it has continued to be used rather than simply stored, and during my ownership it has been my regular work vehicle and daily driver.
