Here’s my 1957 88” series 1
I’ve owned it for 6 years and it’s been great, I just don’t get to use it enough.
It’s been historically fitted with a 2 1/ 4 petrol engine with fairey overdrive and freewheeling hubs.
The previous owner had the head reworked for unleaded petrol and the radiator re cored.
In my ownership I’ve fitted a stainless fuel tank, carried out electrical repairs and fitted period halogen headlights.
Starts, runs and drives really nicely, the brakes could do with adjustment otherwise it’s good to go.
