Description
Lovely blue 2CV6 Spécial, white hood, functional canvas sunroof. First registered 9 September 1982. Logbook shows it as a classic vehicle in my name, FFVE certificate on file. 3 fiscal horsepower, 4 seats, 46, 560 km.
A car I acquired for a professional project that ultimately didn't happen. I've enjoyed driving it, it's given me a lot of pleasure, and it deserves someone who'll actually use it.
Classic vehicle MOT passed 23/ 02/ 2026, valid until 22/ 02/ 2031. No major defects. Two minor issues noted: silencer marked but no leaks or risk of detachment, front right transmission dust cap deteriorated.
Maintenance and parts, all invoices provided:
• Braking system overhauled: rear wheel cylinders with LHM, premium ceramic brake shoes, fresh fluid
• Four complete 125/ 15 wheels new, two spare wheels supplied, Michelin spare with jack and handle
• Twin-choke carburettor: complete gasket set renewed
• NGK spark plugs, air filter, collection of rear springs, heating hoses
• Interior completely refurbished: full upholstery, velvet carpets front and rear, seat foams
• Front bumper repaired and resprayed in body colour in 2023 (minor impact, expert report provided)
Original engine, stated by previous owner as completely overhauled — I don't have the invoice for this work and I'm being honest about it. Starts reliably, runs faultlessly, engine bay in good condition.
What's good about it: striking exterior presentation — brilliant, even blue paint, clean chrome, neat white wheels, hood in good condition. The interior is nearly new: immaculate white upholstery, tidy dashboard, boot resprayed and carpeted. It drives well, starts first time, and the sunroof makes all the difference.
What's not so good, to be frank:
• Perforating corrosion at the base of the rear window, on the door frame — bodywork needed, this is the main issue
• Water ingress at the roof level, with damp marks and mildew on the headlining
• Interior engine bay soundproofing foam degraded
• Floors marked under the anti-corrosion protection
• A few dents on the front left door
• Original ungalvanised chassis: sills and cross-members sound, surface corrosion normal for the age
Photos of each of these points are in the listing, including underside. Nothing's hidden, and the price reflects this.
In summary: a 2CV that runs, reliable, very pleasant to drive, with a full service history and a valid MOT for five years — and a bodywork project ahead for anyone wanting to preserve it long-term.
Available to view and test drive in the Avignon area (84). Complete file of invoices and MOT history available to inspect on site. Private sale, logbook in my name, transfer declared online on day of sale.
