Description
1964 Vespa 150-S – Historic Vehicle
Vespa 150-S first registered on 26 August 1964.
145 cc petrol engine and homologated for two riders.
The scooter is properly documented and registered in my name. It is officially listed with the DGT as a Historic Vehicle and is currently exempt from MOT.
A unit over 60 years old, retaining the character and aesthetics of a genuine classic Vespa. Its condition can be appreciated in detail in the photographs.
One of its principal assets is that all the administrative process for its recognition as a historic vehicle has already been completed, so it is delivered with its documentation fully regularised.
A particularly interesting unit for Vespa enthusiasts and collectors seeking a 1960s 150-S registered as historic.
It is located in Madrid and can be viewed and inspected before purchase.
This Vespa also holds special value for me because of its family history. It belonged to my father and has remained in our family ever since, now in my hands.
It is not, therefore, a classic of unknown provenance that has passed from owner to owner. I know its origin and history directly – something I consider especially important in a vehicle over 60 years old.
It is a Vespa 150-S registered in 1964, one of those bikes that perfectly represents an era and which is increasingly difficult to find with a known family history.
Added to this is the fact that it is officially catalogued as a Historic Vehicle, with all its documentation in order and currently exempt from MOT.
What I value most about it is precisely that combination: an authentic Vespa from the sixties, preserved within the same family and with its historic status already officially recognised.
I am selling it only because I believe the time has come for it to pass into the hands of someone who will truly value and enjoy a classic Vespa with this history.
