1977 VW T2 Bay ‘14 window’
The vehicle was imported from South Africa by the previous owner in 2017. It is a factory build mixture of the T1 ‘Split Window’ and the T2 ‘Bay Window’ giving it the unique 14 window look.
The vehicle is fitted with a full width ‘rock & roll’ bed and has been retrimmed by Custom Coachworks in Wem with a two tone leather colour scheme. It had also been fitted with a kitchenette including a sink and gas hob combination aswell as a fridge and heater. The steering wheel has also been replaced with a quick detachable Momo Prototipo wheel and boss mount. The gear ratios of 1st and 2nd have been shortened to help with movement from stationary.
Overall the vehicle is in good condition and is in working order. As can be seen in the photographs there are small areas of paintwork that could do with being looked as. This is the result of some rust removal earlier on in the year.

Really this T2 stands apart from others due to the T1 style windows. Having 5 down each side aswell as the curved corner windows gives the bus a really unique look amongst other bay windows, I have only ever seen 1 like it at shows.
