I bought my Traveller nearly 3 years ago from West Riding Classic Cars in Yorkshire.
It is a sound car with unfortunately little known history, I have used the car and improved it over my ownership and it is MOT ‘d until 27/ 3/ 27.
The car came with four new tyres and has a servo fitted, alternator and has been converted to an unleaded head.
Since buying the car I have had a new clutch fitted at JFH restorations in Southam, Warwickshire in January 2025 as well as new door seals and have also had the car serviced there as well.
As they have now closed I have sourced a more local mechanic who specialises in Morris Minors, who has generally gone over the car and rectified a few minor faults.
The carburettor was rebuilt in April 2026 by Birmingham Carburettors Ltd.
It drives very well and the paintwork has some blemishes but is generally good for a 56 year old car.
The car was restored 20 years ago and the I understand the wood was replaced at that time, the wood is still very good but like all travellers has areas that would benefit from attention. Overall it is very sound.
A traveller was my first car after passing my driving test in 1971 and I have enjoyed the experience of revisiting the driving experience over 55 years later, however, health isssues restrict my driving now and it’s time for someone else to enjoy the car.
