1975 Yamaha FS1E – Candy Gold – Matching Numbers – Full Nut & Bolt Restoration – Show Condition. £6, 897
Offered for sale is this stunning 1975 Yamaha FS1E in the highly sought-after Candy Gold (A true icon of the 1970s “Fizzy” era, this example has undergone a full nut and bolt restoration and presents in show condition throughout). Paperwork includes 1987 MOT Certificate showing mileage 24, 943 and also Motorcycle Inspection Report showing colour as ‘Yellow’. The bike therefore may have gone through a colour change sometime since. On the V5 it does not show colour change and notes the colour as ‘Bronze’ which as there wasn’t a bronze version could be ‘Candy Gold’ or ‘Baja Brown’. The original colour for the date of registration could have been ‘Popcircle Purple’. Although we therefore cannot confirm original factory colour it is now presented in unmarked lovely ‘Candy Gold’
Since its meticulous rebuild in 2014 by Raccoon Rebuilds, it has only covered test miles to ensure everything runs as it should.
