A very special 1989 Jeep Grand Wagoneer, showing just 37, 000 miles and having had only two owners from new, including myself.
The car was originally in Oregon and was imported to the UK by its original owner in 2011.
It is also a Wagonmaster car. For those unfamiliar with the name, Wagonmaster is one of the leading Grand Wagoneer specialists in the US, dedicated specifically to restoring, preserving and improving these cars while retaining their original character.
The car is in exceptional condition, has always been garaged and drives perfectly. I have spent over £20, 000 in the last two years alone bringing it to this standard.

The window mechanism upgrade is particularly worthwhile on these cars. The original systems use plastic components which become brittle and fail with age, often leaving the windows either unreliable or completely inoperative.
Exceptionally original interior
One of the things that really sets this car apart is the interior.
It still retains its original shag-pile carpeting and original carpeted seat backs. These are almost impossible to replace correctly today and are very commonly damaged or removed, with restored cars often receiving modern carpet or leather in their place.
You genuinely feel the 1980s when you sit inside it.
The original woodgrain, trim and period detailing are all part of what makes these cars so special.
The NOS original wheel centre caps are now incredibly difficult to find and can cost around £500 each.
The Grand Wagoneer is one of the original luxury SUVs, combining a 5. 9-litre V8, automatic transmission, four-wheel drive, air conditioning and electric equipment long before luxury SUVs became commonplace.
Fans of the model will also recognise the Grand Wagoneer from the Diane Keaton film Baby Boom — worth watching if you want to understand some of the appeal of these wonderful old cars.
Reason for sale
Unfortunately, I have recently been diagnosed with a medical condition which means that I can no longer drive.
This genuinely was my dream car and I am absolutely gutted to be selling it. Otherwise it would not be going anywhere.
Over £20, 000 spent in the last two years.

I would be surprised if there is a better example in the country.
