Reasonably tidy for a car of it's era and age, but not concours by any means. The front end has a few stone chips and the drivers seat is starting to show it's age, but there are no rips or tears. The hood has been treated with Renovo Soft Top Cleaner and Protector, and it isn't suffering from the stretching/ sagging that is all too common on these Spiders. It comes with a surprisingly large history file, with documentation dating back to 1998, and has obviously been a very well loved car, with the previous owner having kept it for the last 9 years.
Long MOT to May 2027, and the last service was performed only 4, 000 miles ago. The cam belt, balance belt, variator, and water pump were last changed at 113, 000 miles, there are two new front tyres, all 4 wheels have been refurbished, new battery, new brake calipers in 2025, an upgraded DAB radio, speakers, and amplifier have also been fitted, and the car drives very well overall. I am still occasionally driving the car, so the mileage will slowly increase over time.

I've always liked the look of these 916s and so bought this as a little runaround, but I find it just a tad too modern for me. It's easy to drive, comfortable, very fuel efficient (40mpg on the 200 mile drive home), and much quicker than was expecting, but it just hasn't grown on me, unfortunately. I am glad I got to experience it, however, and if you're more into your "Modern Classics" I'm sure you'll love it.
