Immaculate and fastidiously maintained 996 generation 911 Carrera.
Manual + coupe + RWD + facelift 3. 6l - the desirable, enthusiast spec. I shopped around extensively to find this exact model.
Seal Grey, Turbo/ 4S front end and side sills ("40 Jahre Anniversary" special edition look). IMS/ RMS done, new clutch, new tyres. Find a better one for the money!
Professional, enthusiast owned for last 8 years. All preventative (and routine) work comprehensively carried out in my ownership (and documented):
- intermediate shaft bearing (IMS) upgraded
- rear main seal (RMS) replaced
- new clutch less than 2k miles ago
- 4 new Pirelli P Zero Rossos (Porsche spec) circa 1k miles ago
- new battery
- tasteful exhaust upgrade (OEM sound)
- replacement steering column assembly
- routine air con maintenance (ice cold - unusual for one of these!)
- everything works as it should
- only run on Mobil 1 (Porsche spec)
- new wipers, luxury floor mats and other consumables
- electric heated seats
- original top spec double-din Porsche PCM + Bose stereo (CD changer currently not functioning, but single front loader functional)
- new MOT
- recent replacement coffin arm (front suspension) to correct common creaking noise, for new owner
- engine always fully warmed up before use
- regularly clay barred and machine polished and waxed - truly loved.
There is a small patch of lacquer fade to the rear passenger quarter (C pillar), as per photo. Not serious (and actually quite difficult to get an angle to show it in a photo), but keen to be thorough on description.
Good service history - 7 main dealer stamps, plus all work and all annual services in my ownership (since 2019) carried out at Weston Porsche. Huge file of documentation, including all original Porsche handbook materials (even the sat nav CD), service history and V5.
Genuine reason for sale (downgrading to be a one car family... so an RS4 is possibly on the way, and both the family hatchback and the 911 have to go). I want to find as enthusiastic a new owner as I've been. Will be very sad to see it drive away - my pride and joy.

This is the car that made me fall in love with the 996. The Turbo/ 4S front end and side skirts give it the perfect look, while the manual, rear-wheel-drive setup is exactly how a 911 should feel. I've spent eight years carefully maintaining and improving it, including all the key preventative work, because I always intended to keep it long term. I'll genuinely be sad to see it go, but I'd love it to find another enthusiast owner who appreciates it as much as I have.
