Fantastic example of an early Porsche 944 2. 5 Manual, Alpine white paintwork, fuchs wheels, desirable Porsche script interior with black dash/ trim and a perfectly working sunroof. Currently on 155, 884 miles (early cars only have the 5 digit odometers so displays 55, 884).
Have just had both sills repaired and repainted, paintwork overall is in good condition but has signs of aging as you'd expect on a 42 year old car. Engine is strong and pulls well, beautiful car to drive, have owned the car for over 2 years now and it has never let me down from short drives to longer ones. Have taken this car as far as Scotland and North Wales multiple times in my ownership and never skips a beat.
Perfectly usable classic and a real head turner.
A lot of work has been carried out on the car in the last decade and I have included the last 10 years of invoices from the full service history, but this work includes:
Services, replacement mechanical/ service components (spark plugs, ignition coil + ht leads,), two brand new real wheel bearings in 2024, 4 brand new tyres in 2025, new oil seals around the engine bay, reconfitioned auxiliary air valve, two brand new engine mounts in 2026, new front brake pipes in 2019, brand new steel braided fuel line kit for peace of mind in 2026 and both sills repaired and repainted in 2026 as well.
The only bits requiring work in the near future are looking at the front suspension (car will need new bushes all around in the next year) and there is a slight oil leak from the N/ S/ F rear balance shaft seal (common 944 issue), but this has been managable in the past year by checking the oil levels monthly as you would on any classic car. I would also look at the front shock absorbers in the next 2 years, the suspension and ride feel great all the same, but they are starting to leak slightly.
The dash is a bit cracked in places (again, a common 944 issue), but is original and can always be covered with a dash cover from reputable online vendors, I personally like the original look though.
Seats and rest of the interior are in great condition, the carpet in the driver footwell has a small tear but you don't don't see this when you're driving!
Clutch is good, brakes are good, gearbox is good, the timing belt was done in late 2018 but also still in very good condition and only covered 17000 miles since it was done, so well within the 30, 000 mile interval recommended by enthusiasts. Water pump works perfectly, with a new thermostat and seals fitted in 2026.
It's an absolutely fantastic car and you have peace of mind that this car has alway been garaged and looked after by a Porsche specialist in Kent in my ownership. The only reason for sale is I'm going to be doing much higher mileages in 2027 onwards and am looking for a slightly more sensible car to do it in! I am still driving this car so mileage will go up a bit.
I bought this car for the spec. I wanted a white 944 2. 5 NA for usable classic motoring and when I found one with the porsche script black interior and fuchs wheels I had to get it. I have never been anywhere in this car here it isn't turning heads and getting compliments from people. It has been to many car shows in its history and featured in a Porsche calendar (included in service history) and won its class in car shows years ago. I wanted a car with enthusiast ownership in its history and this car certainly has just that!
I have registered the car as Historic as well (in 2025) - so you pay no road tax, it's ULEZ exempt and MOTs from now on are optional.
As above, I have an extensive service history on the car with receipts going back to 2002 and MOT history that goes back to 1992. It has a history of being looked after by specialists and to my knowledge has been garaged for at least the last 4 years. Invoices attached from just the last 10 years. The car comes with 2 main keys and an extra set of spare keys, has a locking wheel nut socket, comes with a pack of fuses for the fuse box. Any questions, feel free to ask!
