Description
Land Rover Forward Control fire service van from western Finland. The Forward Control is fully equipped with a pump mounted at the front and a water tank at the rear. The vehicle also comes with fire hoses and firefighting gear. The vehicle was in service until 1989. Service records and other documentation are also available. Finnish registration document. The vehicle was previously housed in a museum that eventually closed. After replacing the now-prohibited spiked tyres, a major overhaul, reconnecting or reinstalling various minor components, and a complete inspection of the vehicle, it is ready to drive.
The vehicle has a fairly substantial kerb weight of 3200 kg. It must be re-registered for category B licence or driven on a category C licence if, for example, water and passengers are being carried.
