1948 series 1. Fantastic patina .
Used in competition trials
Original chassis with numbers clearly visible
Number plate LRL245 was the original . Unfortunately DVLA wouldn’t reissue it without an old buff log, even though it’s registered on the Series 1 clubs data base. Instead they issued me a new age related number 3 digit, 3 letter based on chassis number and Land Rover historic records . I have a current V5 in my name.

Original panels apart from tailgate , - with a steam clean, more of the pale sage green would become more prevalent.
Series 2 Engine and axles ( better stability and steering lock) still retaining narrow springs . Have a set of early 80 axles ( but will need refurbishing )
Brakes renewed, master cylinder , wheel cylinders and shoes, Copper brake lines and Goodrich hoses already fitted.

Personally would just wire up the lights and a horn and obviously check for road worthiness.

Also included in the price is 3door 200tdi discovery for tdi conversion into the series 1 . The rust mice have have attacked it the usual places. Sweet engine.
