Exceptionally rare 7-seater CKD station wagon - truly one of a kind in this condition, with outstanding restoration potential. Dry-stored for over 30 years in the Australian outback and another 20 here, it remains remarkably well-preserved. Nearly 70 years old, the steel body shows only light surface patina and minimal rust - a rare survivor and a standout opportunity for any serious collector.
OVERVIEW
The original 4-cylinder engine will need refurbishment and recommissioning. Period details remain, including the canvas water bag mounted on the front bumper, fold-down rear step, and intact rear reflectors. The headlight panel shows a light rust patina, while the Perspex glass in both rear passenger doors and the right rear reversing and brake light lenses require replacement.
The Olympic Trojan tyres, though period-correct, need replacing, and the rims would benefit from refurbishment. The bulkhead is solid but would benefit from repainting, as would the steel dashboard. The three spade seats and rear bench have sound frames but need reupholstering. Both rear stowage lockers are intact, and the tub floor is free of cuts or dents. The original rear fold-down seats have been removed.
Featuring many original details - including the safari roof, alpine lights, bumper-mounted canvas water bag, and original engine – this 107-Inch is a true time capsule.
