Description
One for the real enthusiast or collector; as its fitted with every in period factory extra. A very special car that I’ve owned and enjoyed for 7-8 years. This being my third S1 Exige. It has a full annual service history. Serviced annually regardless of use or mileage.
The car also comes with a history file and every receipt covering >21 years of ownership between myself and 3 prior owners which is really special to have.
It took me 3 years to find these, but the Exige is also currently sat on genuine period lightweight Magnesium Speedline Corse wheels, which at the asking price are included. These are as fitted and used by the Autobytel Motorsport Elise race cars in period and very rare now. Its original OEM Rimstock wheels are also with the car and included in the sale.
Private Plate S1 EXG is not included in the sale.

• VERY VERY Rare Yellow Fabric Car Cover included in sale (plus a spare outdoor cover). The car has only ever been stored in a garage in my and the previous ownership.
After market modifications
• The car runs an Emerald M3DK ECU and Piper verniers, fitted and tuned by Emerald in 2004.
• I had the fuel tank replaced with a larger capacity Pro Alloy version.
• Ohlins 3 way adjustable suspension, running 340R geometry. Bought from the Tarmac Terrorist. They were originally from a 211 and were refurbished and revalved for S1 Exige.
• Oil pressure and temperature gauges fitted in custom pod which fits on the centre housing in front of of the gearstick.
• Exhaust is a 2tubular, single outlet, sports cat fitted. Original is with car
• Throttle pedal linkage replaced with Eliseparts version.
• Lotus Power rear diffuser

The Exige includes all original parts, even those that were replaced by the dealer when new, these include

• Non removeable standard black alcantara Nardi Steering wheel
• Original chrome gear knob
• Original window winders
• Original red cam cover
• Original Oil Cap
• Big box of general maintenance spares I’ve accumulated.
Additional/ General Information
Previously a feature car in Absolute Lotus Magazine. And a previous magazine calendar feature car.
The head gasket was also replaced in 2017, tuning by Hanger 111, it made 185bhp.
In my ownership the car has been services exclusively by Scott Russell Sportscars, who is well know authority for this generation of Lotus. Its next service and MOT is already booked for end of Oct ’26 so car will be freshly serviced on sale and fresh MOT.
An excellent car that has been total pleasure to own and was my original dream car and treated and coveted as such. Only being sold as I want to try a few other cars before I’m too old so need to sell to buy.
