1973 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray C3, finished in original black with original red interior. American classic with huge road presence, unmistakable styling and that all-important V8 soundtrack.
350block Chevrolet V8 with automatic transmission. The engine was originally matching numbers and retains its original foundation, though I have the block should an enthusiast wish although the top end has since been upgraded, so I'm not presenting it as a completely factory-original matching-numbers car. The original brass/ copper radiator has also been retained.
Being a 1973 model makes this C3 particularly distinctive – it combines the newer body-coloured front with the classic chrome rear bumpers, which disappeared 1974.
The car benefits from removable T-top roof panels, a chrome rear luggage rack and classic chrome wheels.
Inside is red Corvette interior, retaining the classic dashboard, gauges and centre console. A discreet Custom Autosound USA-740 has also been fitted, maintaining the classic appearance while adding Bluetooth, USB, AUX and modern audio functionality.
The car extremely well for aged, as the photographs show, but it's a 53-year-old classic. There are age-related marks and imperfections, and viewing is welcomed and encouraged. Classic Corvette Club UK member. Specialist in C3 corvettes said this is the best condition he has seen in 30 years.
