Description
A very nice NSU 601 OSL (unfortunately, the selection only allows up to 501!) from 1939. The motorcycle has German registration papers and is currently registered. Very complete, except for the original air pump.
The hand-operated gearbox shown in the photos proved impractical due to the NSU's long shift throws and has been converted back to the original foot-operated gearbox. Otherwise, a very powerful machine with 24 hp and brutal torque. The condition is very good, and the 3-spoke fork is a real eye-catcher. A high-quality World War II motorcycle.
Sehr schöne NSU 601 OSL (in der Auswahl kann man leider nur bis 501 angeben!) von Baujahr 1939. Die Maschine hat deutsche Paiere, und ist aktuell zugelassen. Sehr komplett, außer der originalen Luftpumpe.
Die auf den Fotos ersichtliche Handschaltung hat sich wegen der langen Schaltwege der NSU als nicht praktisch erwiesen, und ist wieder auf die originale Fußschaltung umgebaut. Ansonsten eine sehr starke Maschine mit 24 PS und einem brutalen Drehmoment. Der Zustand ist sehr schön, und die 3-Speichen Gabel eine echte Augenweide. Eine qualitativ hochwertige 2. Weltkriegsmaschine.
