Here’s my BMW 540i M Sport E39, finished in Topaz Blue Metallic with Montana Black Nappa leather. The car benefits from many optional extras and is practically fully loaded. It has no mechanical issues, starts and drives perfectly, with no knocks or bangs from the suspension. It recently passed its MOT and has 130k miles.
Previously owned by a Republican who took excellent care of it for six years. There is no rust in the common problem areas, and the bodywork is clean for its age, with only some minor age-related marks. It was also professionally detailed recently, including a Stage 3 machine polish, so the paintwork is like a mirror.
Optional extras include an electric sunroof, factory DSP speakers, electric sunblinds, double-glazed windows, and many more. The car does need new rear brake lines as it’s leaking brake fluid which had caused the brake pedal to be very soft, the speedometer on the instrument cluster isn’t working b it the rpms do work, there’s a slight exhaust leak from a loose clamp, and the passenger wing mirror isn’t painted.
