An extremely solid XJ6. Both underneath and externally. I cannot see any evidence of any welding anywhere and Video recorded too.
I bought as a none runner and had been sat for 5 years in a dry barn ( really ) some pictures show its condition on arrival.
Today it Starts and drives. It’s not a “ minter “ but it is a very cool LWB usable Jag. I love its genuine authentic look with the RETRO genuine Wolfrace wheels.
Recents works I’ve done include
replacement front bumper and over riders.
New headliner and surround.
Light switch and ignition switch.
Points and condenser.
Still running on AED as was intended.
4 electrics windows working !
Brakes good alround including inboards
Tyres excellent.
Period radio cassette working and sounds good.
Needs a few bulbs , power steering leak
( sound familiar?)
Seats dry and worn ( part of its authenticity) a good service due to, oil filters etc.
As stated a cool original old Jag , not pretentious at all. Harvest gold in colour various shades !!
A sensibly priced Series 2 you can smoke around and enjoy.
