911 SC with 964 body kit fitted.
MOT and TAX exempt
Car is currently SORN.
Have 90% of original SC parts to return to original specification. Including the wheels.
The car needs work to bring it back to a road worthy condition as its only covered 105 miles in 10 years. Repainted about 15 years ago. It was originally brown. Paint work is not great in areas now but not terrible. Scratch to near side rear wheel arch. Previous owner scrapped his garage door frame. Was rust treated straight away. Corrosion to both front inner wings( normal places) off side worse than near side.
Drivers side kidney bowl area has had some sort of repair in the past with previous owner. Passenger side looks fine. Sun roof trim was not put back when previous owner replaced sun roof cables. Roof works fine. Rear Passenger seat base needs reworking with new horse hair. Some oil leaks, one is from oil pipe from oil thermostat to main metal oil pipe. Possible rear main seal or higher up? Brakes partially seized. Would replace all 4 brake hoses first and clean up calipers. Genuine 100K car. Would may be benefit from a top end rebuild. Would replace oil and filter 1st to obtain correct oil level. Then drive it to clear of any residual oil in exhaust system. Some times smokes on start up if left for a few weeks. The car needs a good going over. However, this is a nice car with a lot of potential for the next owner its just how far you wish to take it and over what time frame.
I have replaced some items in the last few months as listed below.
CDI unit sent off for overhaul with JDS. Comes with a 1 year warranty.
New distributor trigger wire replaced.
Engine wiring loom repaired along with new plug block.
New engine bay 3 fuse holder and rewired.
New upgraded alternator with internal voltage regulator. All wiring cleaned and earth wire to engine checked.
New air filter and retaining strap and Shell oil decal.
New fuel filter.
New information decal stickers fitted.
New engine bay fuse board panel and retaining wing nuts fitted.
New front bonnet lid struts fitted
Front boot light wiring repaired and light unit cleaned.
Repaired positive wire to battery terminal.
New battery earth strap and vent hose fitted. Earth point to body cleaned up.
New Porsche battery clamp and bolt fitted.
Door pins switch rubber boots replaced.
Petrol cap seal and washer fluid cap replaced.
All lights , wipers, horn dash gauges work. Electric Windows work.
Steering wheel upper bush replaced.
Car start and drives until the brakes start to bind. The car would have to be trailered away its not ready for the road yet.( Mainly brake work and oil leak from 2 points I have mentioned) However a few days work and it could be.
This is a genuine 911 SC which requires some work. It's up to you how far you wish to take it. Please don't turn up thinking you will drive it away.

May not be the best write up to sell the car but just being as honest as possible. This is a good car and very solid and clean underneath. I just decided that this not the Porsche for me anymore and to invest in a more modern Porsche. I really want this car to go to good home for you to enjoy the air cooled Porsche experience.
Keys and book pack with some service history. I have invoices from Design911 , JDS and OPC for parts I have recently bought. Plus other items off Ebay.
Many old invoices and parts receipts.
Previous owner also said clutch replaced by Ron and Ron who used to be Porsche techs that used to be a mobile set up. Unfortunately I can't find that receipt. However clutch pedal does feel nice and light with good gear engagement.
