Description
Meet "Marshmallow" – a charming 1969 Subaru 360 Van (K142 / Sambar).
Imported in 2018 directly from the arid climate of Moab, Utah, this vehicle has been deeply cherished and well-maintained throughout my ownership. Due to a growing family and the need for more garage space, it is now time for Marshmallow to find a new home with an enthusiast.
Despite its tiny footprint, the clever Japanese design offers a surprisingly spacious interior and is guaranteed to bring a smile to everyone’s face wherever you go. With fewer than a few hundred known survivors worldwide, you are unlikely to come across another one at any classic car meet or Sunday drive.
Mechanics & Condition
Engine & Drivetrain: The 356cc two-stroke engine starts instantly and pulls smoothly through the gears via the 4-speed manual transmission.
Driving Dynamics: The brakes, steering, and electrical system are all in perfect working order.
Body & Chassis: Thanks to its origins in dry Utah—prior to its import to Germany—the chassis remains solid. The vehicle was repainted at some point in the past.
The van comes with a collection of rare spare parts, which in themselves hold significant value.
Serious inquiries and collectors are welcome. Test drives and viewings can be arranged by appointment.
Languages: German / English
Without doubt the most fun you can have while driving. If you don't like attention then this van isn't for you
