In 1963 Mercedes presented the W113, quickly nicknamed the "Pagoda" because of the shape of its hardtop. Mercedes-Benz quality is not just a myth. On the Pagode, it's a reality and that's what makes it such a strong collector's item today. The 1968 model on offer has only had two owners and has clocked up just 80, 000 km. The leather upholstery and door trim are in good condition, apart from a tear on the left-hand side of the passenger seat back. The floor carpets are in new condition and protected by floor mats. The hardtop is in perfect condition, and the headlining is as new. The ALPAGA soft top is in as new condition. The engine is an in-line 6 cylinder 12 valve engine with a cubic capacity of 2770 cm3. It was mechanically restored in 2022 and is mated to a 4 speed automatic gearbox.
The bodywork was repainted in 2022 in its original metallic sand colour. Numerous invoices and the service book are available. This vehicle, in exceptional condition, has been appraised at 150, 000 euros.
