Mercedes 560 SEL – Very good condition

Imported from Germany to France in 2011 by the previous owner in the Paris region, son of the President of the Mercedes-Benz Club of France. He carried out many works (suspension, bodywork, upholstery, etc.) at the Mercedes network and with brand specialists. I bought it back from him in October 2020 and have continued a very serious maintenance regime with a Mercedes specialist (DSA).
Overall very handsome, it has featured in several TV shows (TF1 Auto Moto), magazines and websites (Youngtimers, caradisiac, 100bornes, Virages Auto Special Mercedes).
Exterior: Very good overall bodywork appearance, complete repaint a few years ago. A few very discreet imperfections exist, not detracting from the car’s elegance.
Interior: Very well preserved. Beige leather of remarkable quality, it would look like around 100, 000 km less! Sunroof lining in place. All equipment works (sunroof, 4 electric windows, bench seat, sunshade). High-end KENWOOD audio installation (with subwoofer, remote control & Bluetooth function). Blaupunkt period radio available.
Mechanical: V8 (the most powerful in the range) in very good running order and even the automatic gearbox. They have been well maintained like the whole car. Very pleasant suspensions, major works on the suspension have also been carried out. The last service date from April 2024, the car is therefore up to date in terms of maintenance since it does around 3, 000 km per year (used 1–2 times per week).
Chassis/ sills: generally sound, only minor beginnings of local rust on the rear crossmember, not serious according to the latest technical inspections.

- 11/ 2020: Restoration of right rear door after heavy rubbing when leaving car wash
- 01/ 2021: Replacement ignition module, electronic control unit, rear brake discs
- 04/ 2021: ATF drain, spark plugs
- 01/ 2022: inspection, ignition, injection, battery replacement, voltage limiter relay
- 02/ 2022: steering arms and damper, front geometry
- 04/ 2024: engine oil change with filter, spark plugs, ATF flector, coolant radiator
- 02/ 2025: replacement left-front window switch and alternator regulator
- 07/ 2025: replacement starter switch
