Description
The DS was designed by stylist Flaminio Bertoni, from the factory’s design office. You can sense an unbridled imagination among the engineers who freely conceived this car, liberated from any constraint imposed by marketing. The aerodynamically styled bodywork may seem dated today, but in 1955 it looked straight out of the year 2000.
The interior is a genuine palace, the carpets are laid over a foam layer, and one sinks into the plush black leather seats with their superb patinas. The interior layout continually shocks the novice: one-spoke steering wheel, tiny brake mushroom, hydraulic gearshift control, etc.
Our DS23ie Pallas presents itself as the height of luxury for the 1970s. Fitted with many of the options available on the catalogue at the time, but above all the rare five-speed hydro gearbox (not four), our model is one of only 20 known examples with this transmission! Restored between 2002 and 2004 solely with Citroën parts, this DS23 is an opportunity to seize!

Mechanical:
The four-cylinder engine is in excellent working order. The braking and transmission components are likewise in good shape.
Hydropneumatic:
The hydro-pneumatic suspension with ride-height corrector offers excellent comfort and efficiency. It is in very good condition.
