You all know we love a good old shindig here at Car & Classic, whether it be a small gathering of friends appreciating a handful of vintage cars and bikes or a larger, more professionally organised affair, we embrace them all. We’re not just talking about attending events, though. We like to get involved where we can too and last year saw us sponsoring classic calendar newcomers The Rover Social as well as taking over the Scramblers Lawn at Bicester Heritage for its regular Scramble celebrations in October. Well, this year we thought we would step up to the plate and host our very own get together. Yep that’s right, on Saturday the 28th of January 2023 we’re bringing Cars, Coffee and Convo to The Classic Motor Hub in Cirencester with the Car & Classic Auto-Social.

Following our successful stints at Loseley Park and Bicester last year – thanks to all of you lovely lot – we wanted to give something back to this wonderful community we’re proud to be a part of and so we invite you to join us at our inaugural Auto-Social at the end of the month and enjoy breakfast on us, in the company of some amazing classic vehicles and like-minded classic motoring enthusiasts.

Our friends at The Classic Motor Hub made choosing a venue for our debut Auto-Social a doddle when they offered up their historic site at RAF Bibury in the heart of the Cotswolds. With three showroom spaces, a coffee house and shop, not to mention a world-class private vehicle collection to explore, The Classic Motor Hub is the perfect spot for our very first event. Bring your own classic and be part of the day, mixing with other petrolheads and classic car fans alongside the motley crew that is us Car & Classic bunch.

It’s not just classic cars and bikes that are represented at The Classic Motor Hub either. The distinguished RAF Bibury, home to the “Hub”, is an entity in itself that has an illustrious past as an operational RAF Fighter Command base during World War Two, housing squadrons of Hurricanes and Spitfires. The site’s significant wartime history is still evident wherever you look, from the genuine, period hangar to a lot of the original groundwork and it remains a superb and fitting location that is dedicated to classic motoring.

It’s going to be a top day but as much as we would love to have every single one of you come and say hi, unfortunately numbers at the Auto-Social are limited due to space so if you want to attend please let us know by filling out this form whereby you will be issued with a ticket for the event. But do hurry as places are filling up fast! Not only will your ticket guarantee entry, but we’ll also throw in a complimentary cup of Joe and a bacon butty to enjoy whilst perusing the myriad motors on display, both in the car park as well as in The Classic Motor Hub showrooms. Surely there are few better ways to spend a Saturday morning?
