A UK registered bike I purchased from the original owner in 1995, and has been in my possession ever since, including a move to Switzerland in 2006. It comes with full documentation and is in excellent, unrestored, original condition having covered 44, 800 miles from new. It is fitted with a bespoke Hagon rear shock/ spring and the original Triumph unit is available if required. It has the updated sprag-clutch, eliminating one of the few faults these bikes were known to suffer from.
A baglux tank cover and BSS soft luggage are included in the sale.
The triple carburettor motor is much sweeter than the later injection models making the Tiger a comfortable, relaxed, touring machine easily capable of keeping pace with modern traffic and still enjoying mountain roads wherever you find them.
The Triumph Tiger started the revolution of Paris-Dakar-styled large-capacity bikes with limited off-road capability but a rugged sporting style that took the motorcycle industry by storm and is still hugely popular today, making them obvious future classics in the years to come.
