Opis
Fully restored Morris Minor in Clarendon Grey fitted with a newly rebuild Fiat 1600cc twin cam engine. The engine is from a Fiat Supermirafiori, the Morris is also fitted with the matching 5 speed Fiat gearbox and propshaft. Modified gearbox tunnel is all steel.
The rear axle is fitted with an excellent condition 3. 7 diff from an MG. The speedo has been calibrated and when checked with GPS is reading approximately 8% high.
Front disc brakes are Marina, custom Powerflow stainless steel exhaust.
Rear spax dampers.
New carpets, seat foams & straps, new headlining, seat covers and door panels are original and in very good condition.
New chrome all round, new screen seals all round. Reconditioned radiator with electric fan and thermostat.
Tyres are new.
Thousands spent on the restoration.
Drives very well with the 3. 7 diff.
Four new wings, obviously no welding required.
The Morris was originally converted over 30 years ago so would probably still qualify for MOT exemption, the March 1990 MOT shows engine size as 1600. V5 also correctly shows the engine size as 1600. Insurance with Footman James didn't mind the engine conversion. Tax free.
Just passed its MOT.
Service history back to the early 80's with a folder of receipts.
