The Trans-Am GTA was a limited production model first released in 1988 and driven by the powerful L98 5. 7 V8 engine straight out of the Corvette. It also sports the highly desirable and very rare Digital Dash option, the WS6 heavy-duty 4-wheel disk brake package and heavy-duty suspension as well as all the usual luxuries you would like on your car such as Electric Windows, Electric Mirrors and A/ C to name just a few.
If you grew up in the 80’s and think this car looks somewhat familiar, it will probably be because this model Trans-Am wasn’t just the star of the popular TV show Knight Rider as the talking car ‘KIT’ but was also the main feature in the movie Smokey and the Bandit 3.
£7000 has been spent by the previous owner since 2014 which includes a complete engine rebuild at 102, 000 miles (now displaying 105, 000) and comes with a file of receipts from the last 2 owners.
