A light alloy sub-frame, coil & wishbone, with an all new multi-link suspension improved the driving experience over the out going 964 model. Other improvements included dual flow exhaust with twin catalytic converters, larger brakes with drilled discs and a revised power steering.
Being a more desirable varioram example with 20% more torque at 5000rpm mid range and acceleration is a marked and noticeable improvement on previous models.
