At a time when one-litre sports bikes could afford to be relatively roomy and comfortable, Yamaha's FZR1000 Genesis arrived in 1987 as the class leader, boasting the FZ750's pioneering five-valves-per-cylinder engine technology and a race-developed aluminium twin-spar 'Deltabox' frame. With a maximum output of 125bhp, the Genesis was good for a top speed of over 150mph, with handling and brakes to match. First registered in September 1987, this fairly low ownership example (6 owners over the last 37 years), is presented in good condition with a fresh MoT, and ready for its next long term custodian.
