1960 MGA Roadster with MGB engine & overdrive - bare chassis rebuild
Remaining one of the most popular and sought-after sports cars of its era, the MGA has a justifiably strong following world-wide.
An original UK RHD example, this 1960 MGA has recently undergone a major rebuild with a detailed booklet supplied showing the complete process of the restoration from the bare chassis. Also supplied are the technical drawings of the chassis showing the fitment of the gearbox mountings required for the MGB overdrive unit.
The body off rebuild was completed 4 years ago.
She benefits from an 1800cc MGB engine and overdrive gearbox
This car has had just three owners plus a supplying dealer.
Finished in Dove Grey with dark red leather interior.
There is a current MOT certificate valid until October 2025. There is much history and many invoices pertaining to the rebuild. There is also a feature on this MG in the August 2010 edition of ‘Enjoying MG’.
