1967 MG B GT - A Beautifully Preserved Example
First registered in September 1967, this MG B GT represents one of the most enduring icons of British motoring. Finished in classic red, it stands as a fine example.
This particular MG B GT has enjoyed a notably careful life, having had only five previous owners from new. Its history is well documented, with a folder of accompanying paperwork that reflects decades of ownership. Among the documents are previous MOT certificates dating back to 1973, which collectively demonstrate the car’s mileage over the years. The file also includes numerous historic tax discs and a collection of invoices detailing maintenance, parts, and upkeep, providing valuable insight into the vehicle’s life.
Adding to the car, it is officially registered on the MGB Register — a distinction that connects it with the wider community of enthusiasts and confirms its authenticity within the model’s heritage network. Accompanying the car are its original MGB Driver’s Handbook and the classic Haynes MGB Owners Workshop Manual, both indispensable for the purist collector or dedicated restorer. The presence of spare keys adds a further note of completeness rarely found in cars of this era.
Presented today as a well-cared-for and highly original example, this 1967 MG B GT captures the essence of 1960s British motoring. With its documented history, traceable ownership, and careful preservation, it offers an excellent opportunity for any enthusiast seeking an honest and characterful example of one of MG’s most beloved models.
