HISTORY
I acquired the car in 1989 at approx. 45k miles, as an insurance non-economic repair. The previous owner was a work colleague who managed to 'ditch' the car causing extensive but not serious damage.
I expended approx. 350 hours total in body (f/ glass) repairs, respraying (currently finished in white, originally metallic grey); and minor mechanical repairs/ upgrades. Including replacing the original cast alloy rear hub carriers with later steel fabricated ones (failure of which I strongly suspect was the cause of the above unfortunate accident).
The car was back on the road in Oct 1989 and then used for daily commuting during the next 3-4 years (totally trouble free)reaching 72k in 1993.
Since this time the car has been stored in my garage and SORN'd, due to suffering a cracked windscreen/ other projects & priorities/ general lethargy.
It was re-MOT'd in July 2015, but remains virtually unused since.
THIS MUST BE A UNIQUE OPPORTUNITY. Either as a future investment or cheap summer motoring fun (OR BOTH).
