Solid and original 99GL. MOT until 26th July 2019.
I've got a long history with this car; I first owned it from 2002 to 2007, when reluctantly I had to sell it. I tracked down the owner and bought it back in 2015, having missed it so much. Since then I've spent as much money as I was allowed (!) to bring it back to its former glory, this includes: new clutch master cylinder, brake master cylinder, front pads and disks, carb rebuild, stainless steel exhaust (back half), bonnet, wings and door respray.
I've used the car as my daily driver up until Christmas and in the 4 years I've had it it's never let me down once. All work listed above done by Saabtec in Glossop, who have a good knowledge of the car. There's a bit of bubbling of rust on one rear wing and under the bonnet above a wheel arch.
Headlining is in excellent condition having been replaced before I bought it for the second time. The front seats are OK - showing signs of 36 years and 127k miles of wear.
I'm only selling my 99 as my old dad has recently stopped driving and I've inherited his car. It will be dry stored over the winter until I find an enthusiastic buyer.
