KKL 874N was brought into the UK from Brazil in 2018 and has undergone a program of work prior to arriving with us. Our Kombi 15 window VW bus has a structurally sound, very strong body and underside having benefitted from a life in South America. The VW has been stripped, and fully re-painted in Light Green over Cream, treated to various new trims and seals, wheels have been sandblasted and the engine has been checked, cleaned, detailed and serviced.
This VW Kombi has arrived with us requiring the interior completing having already had fully re- trimmed front seats. Our Malton Coachworks trim department will be fitting flooring, door cards and rear seating, all carried out to an exceptionally high standard ready for the VW to be put into regular use, ideal for family day trips, shows, events and general weekend use.
On the road our VW drives well with a strong, fit engine and smooth gearbox and will be sold with 12 months MOT, brake service and full function check. These splitscreen VW's are a true icon, they are fashionable, ultra cool and offer the whole family an enjoyable classic experience. Whilst far from a concours restoration, it offers a good value alternative, reliability, lots of fun and requires no major expense.
